Would you like to experience overnight around the magnificent Uummannaq Fjord? We have build a brand new cabin about 21 km southeast of Uummannaq, about 30 minutes sailing. The cabin is fully equipt, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen – living room and toilet. With a large terrace you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you are watching whales swimming by the cabin location. And if you like to go hiking, the backcountry is just a few minutes away. There are many lakes therefore a very good chance to see some wildlife. Like canada goose, mallard, red-breasted merganser, common loon and red-throated diver. There are also ptarmigans, arctic hare and foxes. If you like to stay few days at the cabin you can also hike to the settlement Ikerasak, it’s about 15 km southeast away from the location.
